Vmware Mouse Offset

Jan 04, 2022

Problem

Hello, I am new to VMWare, and my school forced me to use VSphere Client for work. Pretty much everything went well until suddenly I noticed that the menu that appears after hovering the mouse is offset right. It was then when I wanted to uninstall it and reinstall it again but this problem always came back. However, after trying out different versions of compatibility for Windows 7 pro, suddenly this problem disappears - It fixes my overlap issue with the menu on macOS Sierra 10.12.6 on a 13 inch MacBook Pro (2 GHz Intel Core i5). Keep up!

Solution

This is late but it might help someone more. I had an issue with my mouse clicking on Windows 10 and viclient 5.5 too. This was because I was using custom display scaling in Windows 10. After changing the options to "De-select" the 'Let Windows try to fix apps so they're not blurry' and clicking on "Apply", the mouse clicks started working again in viclient.
